Got the fan housing built. This was surprisingly quick, but its very simple. 4 pieces of wood with the same dimensions, joined by screws, and painted. The face was purchased from a home renovation store. the Rear of the housing is open. The fan will be attached here, and will be protected from rain, snow, bugs and birds.
